How it works

The film does not emit light by itself. An LED strip on the sheet edge provides the light; LGP Sticker distributes it evenly across the panel surface.

  1. Clear acrylic sheet

    Clear extruded acrylic (XT), 3–5 mm thick; 4–5 mm for 1220 and 1500 mm widths.

  2. Apply LGP Sticker

    The gradient of acrylic adhesive dots gets denser from the edges towards the centre, so there is no visible loss of light across the panel area.

  3. LED on the edge

    Light is fed in from the sheet edge. Unlit edges are covered with white or silver reflective tape.

Lighting from one edgeUses half of the film. Sheet width = distance from the lit edge in the direction of light travel.

Lighting from two edges does not mean a panel visible from both sides. Exact size ranges are listed in the roll specifications.

Frequently asked questions

Does the film light up by itself?

No. The light source is an LED strip on the edge of the acrylic sheet. LGP Sticker distributes the light evenly out of the panel surface.

What sheet do I need?

A clear extruded acrylic sheet (XT). For film widths 300–910 mm a thickness of 3–5 mm, for 1220 and 1500 mm a thickness of 4–5 mm. We are happy to recommend a specific sheet type.

How do I choose the right film width?

Based on the sheet width and whether you light from one edge or two opposite edges. Ranges are in the technical specifications on the roll card. If unsure, choose “I need a recommendation” in the form.

Is lighting from two edges the same as a double-sided panel?

No. Lighting from two edges means light enters from two opposite edges of the sheet. It says nothing about the panel being visible from both sides.

How does ordering work?

Send an enquiry with the width and number of rolls. We then confirm price, shipping, availability and terms by e-mail. Submitting the form does not create a binding order.
